Season 2 of the personally acclaimed short fiction series will begin on January 28th. I have four stories in the hole, so there will be at least a month of weekly episodes, so bookmark now, kiddies.
The print edition of Season 1 is coming along, though it’s got some work to do yet. Completely re-edited versions of each story, art by David Cummings and Dan Moenster, special back-up features, and possibly an exclusive short story if I can get it figured out before Dan finishes drawing stuffs.

The latest project I’ve worked on for Marvel, and my personal favorite, this handy handbook to the Defenders includes perennial favorites such as Atlantean warrior Andromeda, four villainous people named Dr. Spectrum (best profile I ever wrote), semi-competent super-villain the Eel, the Evil Eye, vigilante Foolkiller, the Squadron Supreme’s Nighthawk, and my favorite Man-Thing supporting character, Richard Rory. Spider-Man Through the Decades
by captainswift on December 7, 2011 at 6:00 pmHere’s a big fat book of Spider-Man stories spanning 50 years with stories by Stan Lee, Gerry Conway, J. Michael Whassisname and others, as well as Handbook profiles by Roger Ott, Mike Fichera, Rob London and me!
Learn all about such perennial Spidey favorites as American Son and the gang at Horizon Labs. (I wrote the last three pages of this book).

So, here’s another thing I worked on. It’s pretty awesome, with a recap of the major events from FF #1 to Spider-Island (and BEYOND!!!), and I wrote pages 10 through 18. So go to your local comic shop and buy pages 10 through 18 now!
(Also buy pages 1-9, because my buddy Roger wrote them. And hey, Kevin and Jacob are alright guys, too. Heck, just buy the whole book.)
The season finale of Deerslayer at last! If I was Joss Whedon, more people would have died, and one of them would have been Scott. However…
Season 2 will start in a couple of months or three. In the meantime, I’m going to try to get a print edition together, all edited and continuity fixed and expanded to make a better read. (If you are an artist and want to do some black and white images for episode headers and don’t feel any particular need to get paid for it, let me know. Hell, if I actually sell some books, I might pay you anyway.)
